A visit to the desert isn’t as peaceful as you’d think, at least not the desolate Arabian Desert. The easiest way to get at the Arabian dunes outside the city is only by the four-wheel-drive safari vehicle. The tour is incredibly popular in UAE, but your enjoyment will only heightens if you are ready to take on the 5 most exciting activities you shouldn’t miss in the Arabian desert safari:

1) Get on a safari 4X4 wheel drive for some dune bashing

An experienced safari drivers will take you through the exciting desert sand dunes to experience the roller coaster thrilling dune bashing.

2) Camwhoring opportunities in the spectacular desert

After the magnificent dune bashing, will stop for photo for snap shots in the desert. Beware if you are wearing slippers, you may lose your slippers or belongings in the sandy terrain. Trust me, if you drop anything i.e. keys or coins, it is very unlikely for you to find it back again! haha

3) Camel Riding (Beware of MERs)

After the magnificent dune bashing, will stop for photo-stops and get some snap shots in the desert. The tour will then continue and drive to the campsite with more exciting activities awaits for you. With traditional Arabic tents, furnished with carpets and pillows, or experience a ride on the camel, I promise you, this will be an adventure of a lifetime! 🙂

4) Challenge yourself for the adrenaline rush at the sand skiing on dunes

Along with the camel ride, the tour also provide thrilling sand skiing specially for adventure lovers. Sand skiing is kinda similar to snow skiing. Over at the desert, you can ski on the high sand dunes. Don’t worry, it is suitable for people of all ages. You do not need any experience to do this, so don’t think too much, just go for it. It will not hurt you in anyway. 🙂

 5) Be entertained at the campsite of the Safari Desert

Desert Safari tour is a very special and unique experience. I would say is a must do tour if you are in Dubai. A truly unforgettable real desert safari drive adventure with the traditional Arabic Bedouin campsite visit where you can also enjoy henna painting, sheesha (smoky smoky), BBQ dinner with unlimited soft drinks and water. Alcohol is with an additional charge. Remember to catch some sunset photos at the desert! You are only here once, so grab all good photos opportunities! After sunset, there will be evening entertainment for guests, the lovely Arabic belly dancer will hynotise you away from your worries and reality, not forgetting the special traditional tanoura dance by the Arabic men as well. You will never forget this absolutely amazing experience.
